Project Officer – Australian Wildlife Society

(Part Time – 12 hours per week, over 3 – 4 days)

Location: A mix of working from home and across the Greater Sydney Region, NSW, as required.

Salary: $21.38 per hour.

Six months trial period.

This role is one of those rare positions that come along once in a while.

Do you have a passion for wildlife and the community?

The Australian Wildlife Society is growing, and we have an opportunity for a committed Project Officer to assist in the delivery of relevant and engaging communication campaigns and grow brand awareness.

A passion for the conservation of native flora and fauna is a must.  The Society’s communication strategies are driven by understanding that each digital engagement is an opportunity to connect with our audience and make a difference in the outcomes for native species conservation across Australia.

Responsibilities include:

  • Promoting and marketing the Society
  • Creating and managing a project schedule
  • Facilitating project communications
  • Other duties as required

Working with the Society’s National Office Manager and the Society CEO, this is a career-defining role across the full spectrum of brand management and digital media to help ensure our native Australian wildlife has the best possible future.

While tertiary qualifications from a recognised Australian institution is a criterion, the Society would welcome applications from those who are in their final year of studies and have experience in marketing and/or brand management – especially in digital media.  Demonstrated experience with digital and publishing software, a strong eye for design and layouts, including Adobe Creative Suite, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, CRM’s & CMS are all essential.

Applications should include a current CV and cover letter – that tells us WHY this role is for you.  Your CV should tell us about your education and experience and forwarded to Megan Fabian, National Office Manager, AWS National Office, 29B/17 Macmahon Street Hurstville NSW 2220 or Email: [email protected]
